Gloster Seagladiator
![Album image #1 Album image #1](/albums/img/4/9/7/520497-21096-15-720.jpg)
basic interior. at least there is a decal for the instruments....
![Album image #2 Album image #2](/albums/img/4/9/8/520498-21096-33-720.jpg)
![Album image #3 Album image #3](/albums/img/4/9/9/520499-21096-82-720.jpg)
added some seat belts
![Album image #4 Album image #4](/albums/img/5/0/0/520500-21096-71-720.jpg)
![Album image #5 Album image #5](/albums/img/5/0/1/520501-21096-41-720.jpg)
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/5/0/4/520504-21096-27-720.jpg)
a bit of work to improve the engine....
![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/5/0/5/520505-21096-40-720.jpg)
some thin wire can make it look nicer
![Album image #8 Album image #8](/albums/img/5/0/6/520506-21096-59-720.jpg)
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/5/0/7/520507-21096-47-720.jpg)
first real rigging... room for improvement, no doubt. cannons changed from plastic to steel. a bit more durable 😛
![Album image #10 Album image #10](/albums/img/5/0/8/520508-21096-57-720.jpg)
![Album image #11 Album image #11](/albums/img/5/0/9/520509-21096-27-720.jpg)
![Album image #12 Album image #12](/albums/img/5/1/2/520512-21096-35-720.jpg)
cockpit in a piece of tape, masked and painted
![Album image #13 Album image #13](/albums/img/5/1/0/520510-21096-80-720.jpg)
![Album image #14 Album image #14](/albums/img/5/1/1/520511-21096-42-720.jpg)
![Album image #15 Album image #15](/albums/img/5/1/4/520514-21096-55-720.jpg)
last bit of rigging, in the tail
![Album image #16 Album image #16](/albums/img/5/1/5/520515-21096-12-720.jpg)
It can not be seen, but i forgot to paint the legs..... well, easy to solve. then it will ready for decals. future, and probably some postshading, if i have enough courage for it.....
![Album image #17 Album image #17](/albums/img/7/0/9/1167709-21096-42-720.jpg)
after some years, now a picture with the details that were added long ago (engine, with details, propeller....)
![Album image #18 Album image #18](/albums/img/7/0/7/1167707-21096-41-720.jpg)
![Album image #19 Album image #19](/albums/img/7/0/8/1167708-21096-48-720.jpg)
added those pipes in the engine long ago, but there was no picture
![Album image #20 Album image #20](/albums/img/7/1/0/1167710-21096-48-720.jpg)
i saw a bigger scale gladiator with that tiny thing for the pilot to climb, and i had to replicate it. picture is not clear....
![Album image #21 Album image #21](/albums/img/7/1/1/1167711-21096-56-720.jpg)
![Album image #22 Album image #22](/albums/img/7/1/2/1167712-21096-64-720.jpg)
![Album image #23 Album image #23](/albums/img/7/1/3/1167713-21096-83-720.jpg)
kit is missing a pitot tube, so it had to be replicated.
![Album image #24 Album image #24](/albums/img/7/1/4/1167714-21096-23-720.jpg)
size comparison
![Album image #25 Album image #25](/albums/img/7/1/5/1167715-21096-62-720.jpg)
added and half pained. it looks good. i painted some detail in black later
![Album image #26 Album image #26](/albums/img/7/1/6/1167716-21096-58-720.jpg)
![Album image #27 Album image #27](/albums/img/7/1/7/1167717-21096-12-720.jpg)
cut a black decal in pieces, to replicate those holes
![Album image #28 Album image #28](/albums/img/7/1/8/1167718-21096-43-720.jpg)
same in the gun covers
![Album image #29 Album image #29](/albums/img/7/1/9/1167719-21096-58-720.jpg)
home made to add some details ("lift here" and others)
![Album image #30 Album image #30](/albums/img/7/2/0/1167720-21096-23-720.jpg)
and the kit decals (roundels and numbers)
![Album image #31 Album image #31](/albums/img/7/2/1/1167721-21096-54-720.jpg)
home made does not look bad for this scale. add some nice touch, i would say
![Album image #32 Album image #32](/albums/img/7/2/2/1167722-21096-15-720.jpg)
just missing a couple of details, to be done in the weekend, i hope
![Album image #33 Album image #33](/albums/img/7/2/3/1167723-21096-69-720.jpg)
just added some decal solution to get the big blue ones to adhere better
![Album image #34 Album image #34](/albums/img/5/8/2/1193582-21096-66-720.jpg)
and finally, finished
![Album image #35 Album image #35](/albums/img/5/8/3/1193583-21096-57-720.jpg)

thanks a lot András. cockpit is too basic. unfortunately only found out bout the detail set for it after i had it closed. well, i will add it to my next gladiator.
this one is waiting to be finished. just a bit of panel wash needed. but lack of time (and motivation) lately

I get a headache think about how small that is. Don't know how you guys do it. Really impressive!
Will it be part of a dio?

It is indeed a really special project, with 38+ elements involved... Great work in 1/144! Following your upcoming "acrobats"!

thanks Michael, David and Nathan
well, not all 38 will be use in the flying circus. only one of each kind will. The second Spitfire or the second (3rd, 4th....) Me-262 are in smaller projects. Some maybe small dios, like the Me-109 that will get open engine covers, etc.

I have to agree with you. Some upgrades and paint job but not a model that I "fully" built 🙂 unlike this Seagladiator

Wow.. in 1:144 scale this is amazing!
I'm still hesitating to add wiring on my 1:72 Tiger Moth, and you do this in 1:144.. My compliments!
