The black pieces of the kit have been hit with a flat black, the white, a matte white, and the engines and OMS bells will receive a gun metal color.

A brief dry-fit to see how she looks. Eggy here will have markings for Discovery, in her early NASA worm type insignia. Her fuselage and wings will be kept separate until after paint and decals.

The engine bells were very plain. I did not intend to do much detail-additions to this kit, but I had some extra styrene rod that I decided would make the engines more interesting.

I had to see how Eggy here fit in with her fellow eggs in the Egg-Orbiter Processing Facility. It's hard not to smile when working on such a kit and have a little fun!

Received as a Christmas gift some years ago, this kit sat stashed away until recently, as part of a move to begin and finish some kits, I've decided to finally build it.
