Very organised, funny that now matter how big the hobby room, all the building takes place on those little mats we all have 😄 Recognise some of the book on your shelves. I keep my decals in binders, also arranged by country

Do the books refer to modeling and references to particular aircraft? or something else?

Thanks everyone, glad you like my little spot.
Chris, all the books are either reference to a certain aircraft or how to build certain things like what AK Interactive put out and a handful of modeling magazines.
This is why it takes me so long to finish something, I'm too busy cleaning.😛

It is a nice place to spend time in Laurent.
Tomorrow I need to go to Bunnings and buy some castors and put them onto a bedside table that I will use in the garage for the rest of my paint to be stored in. I also need a couple of 4 foot long fluro lights to brighten up the garage as that is where my spray booth is. I'll add the photos of that area in a day or so.🙂

Great modeller too Rui! Oz modellers are spoiled with the light though. We have very little air pollution here and the light is so much brighter than the northern hemisphere. And we don't have clouds.

Oh, and Mick? If I had those displays in my house I'd be charging admission. I suggested a display cabinet to Mam yesterday and she just laughed at the prices. Might have some secret men's business coming up bro!

Yes Peter, i agree, with such a model kit collection of course he is a great modeller.
About the light on southern hemisphere i'm not so sure, Because i can't complain where I'm from. Small country where the Hearth finish and the sea Begins, so not so Much pollution.
Clouds??? Whats that???😉

Thanks Fellas. This is how I like to work, if I have to much clutter around me I tend to get cranky and annoyed.

Very nice! Nice to see it is tidy/clean on the floor. If you have too much stuff around on the floor, keeping things clean become tricky.

Q: How did you add the extra shelves for your Detolf cabinet? Or, maybe it isn't the Ikea Detolf cabinet in your photo?

Thanks Treehugger, no there not Ikea Detolf cabinets, just looks like them. What I did was go to Bunnings (massive hardware store down here in Aus.) and bought some aluminum angle, 20mm x 20mm and also bought some multi purpose glue. I made sure the glue would stick metal and glass together, once home cut the angle to correct length with my Dremel. Measured halfway between the existing shelves and glued the angle in place, held there for a few minutes to make sure it didn't move. Waited a very long week placed the glass shelves that I bought from a glass shop onto the angles and just like that extra shelves.🙂🙂🙂

This is my new hobby room, it's the third one in six years, next move will be back to a house I own. I hope because I hate moving and setting up.
