I thought, the body was prepared for clear coat. But....

Sure, I was thinking about to paint it in another color. But the undercarriage is done silver.

After wet sanding and polishing, I think I'm done with the body. Except the black inlays on the sides.

I saw your idea on scaemates. This model kit (what you're goinig to build) is what I'm looking for. I have the 62 by AMT and it Looks not well made around the headlights. They look tiny....

It all starts with this 1958 Corvette. My Silver Corvette Collection.
I want to build something unusual. Not even red with White, something different. My choice is silver with black.
