HobbyBoss went for the simple solution ant casted the strut and wheel together...

Sub assemblies coming together  

Couldn’t resist starting on the things under wings - I’m opting for 10 x Mk.81 (Snakeyes) and 2 x Zuni rocket pods and a centerline fuel tank. 

The million dollar question - when to stop sanding... 

Dorsal hump in place, needed some adjustments for a snug fit. 

More etch... 

Ejection seat completed, just needs a clear coat. 

Tried Eduards fabric tags at first but had no success as they fell apart in my hands... 

The remove-before-flight-tag looks somewhat oversized but from what I understand after googling for a while the tags comes in various sizes and I also found a video of an A-4 walk around with a large tag mounted to its ejection seat. 

Once again I thank the nice people at Eduard for including extras in the etch kit since I lost one of the HUD-displays to the carpet monster. 

Just some touch up needed and then the HUD is complete
