LCAC-83
![Album image #1 Album image #1](/albums/img/1/2/5/709125-12294-87-720.jpg)
The top of the front skirt is to flat in my opinion
![Album image #2 Album image #2](/albums/img/1/2/6/709126-12294-53-720.jpg)
After some scraping the shape is more what you observe in fotos
![Album image #3 Album image #3](/albums/img/1/2/7/709127-12294-69-720.jpg)
The propellers are molded into the shrouds an look very bulky, so I decided to make my own proepllers
![Album image #4 Album image #4](/albums/img/1/2/8/709128-12294-28-720.jpg)
Comparision of the part OOB and the improoved version
![Album image #5 Album image #5](/albums/img/1/2/9/709129-12294-27-720.jpg)
The air ducts can also use some refinement. First they were hollowed out
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/1/3/0/709130-12294-28-720.jpg)
Then the protective grid was added from stretched sprue
![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/1/3/1/709131-12294-97-720.jpg)
The Superstructures come a very finely detailed parts. But to use the MK1 PE set we have to cut them apart
![Album image #8 Album image #8](/albums/img/1/3/2/709132-12294-93-720.jpg)
The very nicely detailed PE mesh added. Everything fits very well
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/1/3/3/709133-12294-60-720.jpg)
I decided to add the air inlets on the inside of the superstructure. Not very visible, but otherwise theres only one big void.
![Album image #10 Album image #10](/albums/img/1/3/4/709134-12294-70-720.jpg)
All the main parts in place and primed
![Album image #11 Album image #11](/albums/img/1/3/5/709135-12294-75-720.jpg)
On the pilot house I added some cables, a GPS-Antenna and a nav. radar from scratch as the Trumpeter kit hat this area void of details
![Album image #12 Album image #12](/albums/img/1/3/6/709136-12294-87-720.jpg)
On the port side I added a mastfor some position lights an an antenna mast from copper wire.
![Album image #13 Album image #13](/albums/img/1/3/7/709137-12294-26-720.jpg)
The deck painted and weathered. Zje yellow lines were aibrushed.

Wow, what an eye catcher. 🙂
Is the large ship kit ok in your opinion?

Thank you mates!
@Treehugger: It seems so. I have the kit I'm my stash for a while now. Can't comment on fit, but the details look good and I'm Shute one can build a stunning model of this kit with the use of the available PE sets. I also don't know of big accuracy issues. But this build is only about the LCAC. Not going to build the Wasp right now.
