cooling holes are molded shut
started with thinning the edges, also for the fit of the replacement barrel
Next I used the fine Mr Scriber to follow the contours till the pieces could be pushed through
next up is making the hole even with a drill (used as a file, due to lack of such a small file) and then removing the burrs with the thin cement.
A bit better IMHO
Hull in dryfit... gives a whole new level to the concept of clickable parts... Was very doubtfull about that when I've first encountered this when they announced their GT-40
all main parts can be taken apart for painting
rear part consists of 5 parts interlocking.. almost no seams
on the kit part is folded up, a small change to fold it down... simply cut away, enlarge the space between the bracket parts and reglue
loose parts, ready for primer
seats too.
a mean machine...
pieces ready for primer, so far, only the inside
and finished
The KAV-stuff has arrived... the green film is a hell... don't know what I'm doing wrong, but it has some slight glue on one side. I've cleaned the window parts and the table, but fot one reason it seams that there's always a bubble, some dirt, etc between the surfaces... So I've ended removing the glue and squeeze it like that between the window parts...
