Very nice start Guy. I like the unfashionable big rivets on this. Can't remember when, but I once looked at a Ju 87 wing in a museum and it was built more like a railway locomotive than a sleek warbird. Anyway following with interest. 🙂

Many thanks Neil 🙂 I admit, there is something about the Stuka that is both interesting and sinister at the same time.

Looks good Guy. I'm always intimidated by older kits with raised elements. It makes sanding nearly impossible.

Welcome and thank you! 🙂 I agree Skywalker, I already have sanded the "join area" of the fuselage and have had to take note of where some of the raised areas were for pre-shading.

Definitely not, despite my age, I've been on a steep learning curve for the last couple of years (since taking up modelling again) and still with a long way to go! 🙂

I have been a professional artist for several decades and I have even restored some priceless paintings but I must confess modeling is one of the most challenging things I have ever done. The learning curve is hard core. I feel like I am back in my old master classes again. Some of the guys here are so good I just sit a stare at their work in awe.
