Many of the bigger parts are slide molded and do not require much assembly... thus this is the result after about 10minutes of unpacking, cutting and dryfitting it all together
![Album image #2 Album image #2](/albums/img/5/3/7/1078537-33587-82-720.jpg)
Finished the basic parts of the superstructure. As the parts were slidemolded, there were no real issues with alignment. Note that Iused black glue
![Album image #3 Album image #3](/albums/img/5/3/8/1078538-33587-68-720.jpg)
Stabilizers, screws and shafts were glued in place on the lower hull
![Album image #4 Album image #4](/albums/img/5/3/9/1078539-33587-67-720.jpg)
It´s photoetch time! The Tetra stuff seems rather nice, although it´s super fiddly
![Album image #5 Album image #5](/albums/img/8/3/0/1081830-33587-66-720.jpg)
ANother bit of work was finally done today! I glued on some more PE and glued the main superstructure on. I still have to do some filling
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/8/3/1/1081831-33587-41-720.jpg)
The PE-details look quite nice on the missile launchers
![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/5/8/2/1084582-33587-53-720.jpg)
Got smoe more progress! Got the sides (more or less) properly sanded.
![Album image #8 Album image #8](/albums/img/5/8/3/1084583-33587-47-720.jpg)
So more PE has also been fitted. The ship really starts to look quite delicate
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/5/8/4/1084584-33587-62-720.jpg)
Funnel and rear mast
![Album image #10 Album image #10](/albums/img/5/8/5/1084585-33587-73-720.jpg)
Front mast and bridge area. It´s just missing the bigg radar on top...
![Album image #11 Album image #11](/albums/img/8/9/1/1085891-33587-36-720.jpg)
Assembly is finsihed. Mayor and minor subassemblies are left removable for easier painting
![Album image #12 Album image #12](/albums/img/8/9/2/1085892-33587-20-720.jpg)
The bow area is full of rockets, radomes and stuff
![Album image #13 Album image #13](/albums/img/8/9/3/1085893-33587-27-720.jpg)
PE doors and ladders bring some nice additional detail around the mid section
![Album image #14 Album image #14](/albums/img/8/9/4/1085894-33587-66-720.jpg)
The main radar has its two main parts tilted slightly aginst each other, making it look rather interesting
![Album image #15 Album image #15](/albums/img/8/9/5/1085895-33587-60-720.jpg)
And I´ve built a micro-chopper to sit on the helo-deck
![Album image #16 Album image #16](/albums/img/5/8/6/1095586-33587-80-720.jpg)
Basic painting and washing is done... I still have to paint the stand in black
![Album image #17 Album image #17](/albums/img/5/8/7/1095587-33587-99-720.jpg)
![Album image #18 Album image #18](/albums/img/5/8/8/1095588-33587-73-720.jpg)
![Album image #19 Album image #19](/albums/img/2/1/8/1096218-33587-26-720.jpg)
Approaching the finish-line of this one
![Album image #20 Album image #20](/albums/img/2/1/9/1096219-33587-41-720.jpg)
Micro-decaling... got to touch up the window-parts though
![Album image #21 Album image #21](/albums/img/0/0/6/1099006-33587-32-720.jpg)
Final photos of the finished model!

Thanks 👍 At least everything (kinda) fits on this kit... although I still have to properly sand and fill on the hull

nice build, and it's fun to know she has ever visited Germany, I have seen her in person as well since she harbors around my town.

Album info
Using Trumpeters 1/700 kit and Tetra Model Works photoetch elements, I am building the Chinese PLAN frigate Binzhou (515) as I had seen her in person at an Open Ship event at the Kieler Woche in Northern Germany in 2018.
