Awesome Viper and presentation Brett!
How do you fix the plane on this stand?

Thanks Konrad! I 3d printed a flat plate to interface to the pole. On top of that I glued a piece moulded with Milliput so that it fit the fuselage perfectly. I placed some tape on the fuselage before putting the milliput on it and shaping it. Once set I drilled the necessary holes in it, included one for a rare earth magnet that's at the back of the mount. There's an identical magnet in the tail of the fuselage (fitting just under the exhaust barrel). There's a connector in the middle (just in front of the magnet) which provides some additional support, then the front piece is just to help support it and not let it fall forward. It could probably do with another magnet at the front, but it's holding pretty well. It's pretty simple to remove it from the base. Does that make sense?

Thank you for your detailed explanation. Yes it makes sense I think. I will give it a try on a similar plane.
