Yesterday I was in terrain-mood, so I started to assemble a base from different Resin parts and a scratch house corner from balsafoam. I will paint it in the next days before I finally start building the M1A1. Looking forward to get my fibgers on this beast, the RFM kit looks quite promising

Welcome mates.
While the kids enjoyed their Christmas gifts an my wife was at work I had an relaxing modeling session in the basement.
I added an Electric pole and some wires and two scratchbuild satellite dishes. After that I started the basic painting. Some more details to to, before I can start with the final weathering.

So, the detailpainting is nearly finished and I started to place some trash and dirt here and there. Next I will finish the satellite dishes and final touches on the houses before I glue it in place and add some more wires between the pole and the houses.

I added some more trash, mainly an old freezer scratchbuilt from sheet and greenstuff.
Some more garbage and debris to do before I concentrate on the tank

Would be nice to see, if a native arab speaker can read the red letters. I copied them from an original picture.

I think I can finish the base tomorrow. All cables and wires are in place and nearly completely painted (hackwork).

The base ist nearly completed, some little touch ups here and there but now I'll focus on the tank.
Basic assembly is done, just the 3 machine guns and some pe parts left before I can start painting this beast
