MiG-29《9.13》"Ukrainian Air force"

These days I hear a lot of tragic news from Ukraine.
I hope that the day will come when the MiG-29s with their tryzubs will be able to fly in peace in the skies of a peaceful Ukraine. 

Excellent pilots were scouted from Fujimi's MiG-21. 

I've been so busy that it's actually been two months since I've worked on a plastic model. 

Apparently, all MiG-29s in Ukrainian digital camouflage are 9.13-spec aircraft, so I make a hump on their back. 

Excellent pilot. 

Adjustment complete. 

I bought a stainless steel circular template for the first time and I like the increased efficiency.
I've never been good at painting tyres before, even more so. 

Selected distinctive camouflage colours 

Painting has started.
This is the first colour, which also serves as a base coat. 

Apply the shredded masking tape in a single layer. 

So much for the vertical tail... 

Painting of fuselage has started. 

Second colour painted.
The colours are the same as those of the Japan Maritime Self-Defence Force ships. 

Sometimes checking the finished product. 

Painted a third colour, light grey. 

Back pain is getting worse ...
But I cannot give up here. 

Painted the last colour, a beautiful white. 

And a tense moment!
I managed to finish the work successfully. 

Drawing nationality symbols improves the atmosphere at once. 

Application of Super Clear III, a paint smoothing and anti-silvering spell. 

In honour of all Ukrainians fighting to defend their homeland. 

 

There is little documentation and the digital camouflage pattern is a combination of several aircraft, so there is no clear original source.
