After the bulding process model cured with MrColor Mahogany surfacer. Outstanding performance by these surfacers diluted with MrColor Levelling thinner.
Lot of patience, some of airpressure tuning and hell-of-a-steady-hand results in “not that terrible camo stains” made by freehand. Now it starts to look like a panzer!
In details you can see that zimmerit looks kind defective in some areas.. well , next time i need to better steady my hand or figure out some knife guiding to make nice straight lines.
And now the last part of model making - when relatively nice model gets destroyed by my weathering attemps. I always try to make its just very decent… and it ends it total mud and dust appocalypse. Luckily most of it will be hidden under protective side armor plates.
J_K Great work! I just bought the same kit... also inspired by Uncle NS!

Out of box build of 1/35 Jagdpanther from Meng kit. Inspirated by Night shift youtube channel I tried to remake welds with Tamiya epoxy putty, itwas really fun, as well as creating armour surface texture with putty diluted with thin cement. On top of it the best part of whole model - homemade zimmerit! 😄 as well followed by uncle Night shift, I applied coat of smooth tamiya epoxy putty and with knife created zimmerit texture. For the first try on this technique i think its not that bad and Next time it will be sure better. Finished with 3tone german camo, airbrushed by freehand - also new experience for me, dots created with brush . Varnished with satin top coat.
