1/72 Revell BAe Hawk T.1 RAF 1987

This was a Swiss Hawk T.66 but its never been correct in my eyes and has always looked abit out of place, so in my infinite wisdom or there by lack of I decided to repaint it!

It's the exact same colour scheme bar the white not being yellowed!

Here she is with a new lick of paint. 

And all ready for decals after her first layer of clear. 

All decalled up! 

And now she has her training ordinance 

I decided to add the Chivinor decals to make all my trainers different. 

After a while I decided to give her and open airbrake and replace the silly little fins at the back for real ones. 

Oh and the canopy is now open! 

That's it now no more mods for this girl!

I think all the inspiration came from seeing the 3 ex Swiss now Finnish Air Force Hawk Mk.66's at RIAT in July 2024, it's the first time in memory seeing them in this scheme and they look absolutely stunning!
