A Higher Call

I love this project idea. I'd read the story of the B-17 so badly damaged, that despite orders, an intercepting fighter pilot refused to shoot it down and instead escorted the ravaged aircraft to within sight of the UK so that if she did have to ditch he could call out their position for S & R before saluting and bugging out. An amazing story, I thought. I JUST discovered the Kits-World decal set while merging a duplicate entry mislabeled under the War Birds brand label and read a brief account of the tale with more specifics than I remembered! ^_^ Now, to build another B-17 & 109 or change my plans for my B-17F and 109G example? Decisions decisions!
