After wrestling with the Bedford QL in the same box over several months (which probably didn't help) - see RAF Refuelling Set (Bedford QL) | Project by Dr RJH (1:76) - the anally-retentive completer-finisher in me couldn't leave the Matador on the sprues so I ploughed on... and either the experience with the QL, a more focused/calm me or just a better(?) kit resulted in it being a much more enjoyable experience...
