Airfix 1:48 Bf109F double build

An old favourite, I've recently uncovered the vintage tooling Bf109F in 1:48th scale from the loft. It's in a sorry stage after being in storage for many years, and the build dates back from the early 1980's in my early teens, which gives indication as to the overall quality of build too.

I managed to acquire a second kit - a slightly later boxing for silly money in auction, and this helped hatch my plan to restore my original in line with building the new addition, leaving me with both colour scheme options for display on the shelf. I have since taken delivery if a mint decal sheet which will enable me to keep both builds perfectly out-the-box.

All I need now, is to find a supplier of suitable silicon and resin so I can make a few duplicate parts to facilitate the repair work.....
