The air intake on this kit needs to be rebuilt. It's not too difficult. Worse is the flash on the nose cone. Mine was a blob of plastic that needed to be filed down to shape.

Thank you for your tip Skyhiker 👍 but when i start to correct the mistakes of this kit where does it end ? How did you rebuilt the air intake at your kit ?

It's been awhile since I finished this kit. I think what I did was separate part of the top half and put a styrene sheet in there. Here is a photo: P-51 D Mustang | Album by Skyhiker (1:72)

Gluing, and it was my first experience! It was not easy, I even bought UV glue to get the parts together faster. Then I could hold it while my wife hardened the glue with the UV light. It was my 5th model after a 35-year break.

@ Andreas I think with the tools I am using now, it would be less difficult. I don't know many people who want to make a BE version of the Leopard. But I am getting the impression that you will make a UKR version of it considering BE supplied UKR with it.

This project has been waiting long enough, now the time has come! The "shell", seen here, is quickly put together, the glued seams are still wet, so to speak. I plan to show the A90 in a proper dio - gliding just above the water!

Builders advisory for all those who own or are building a DFW C.V late production. Please note that at step 10 it says to attach lower wings and in step 12 to attach the undercarriage. If you wait until step 12 you will not be able to attach the undercarriage without trimming down the rear attachment points as the gap between the wing/fuselage is too small.
