Roland SachsenhoferLooks like the installation of a new boiler... but is the very first shell of the 'Trevithick', the first steam locomotive....
The vintage kit doesn't appear to be bad and quite well thought out, only the plastic material in an unhealthy-soapy looking green plastic made me a little uneasy. But it will be fine! 🙂
I'm really looking forward to the next steps - a highly interesting and refreshingly different topic!

Roland SachsenhoferThe main assemblies have now been completed. Care must be taken here to clean up the numerous ejection marks and the many moulding protrusions, but that's the only thing holding it up 🙂
The colours on the parts shown are, apart from the primer with black acrylic paint, Alclad II metal paints, namely Gunmetall, Steel... and above all Alclad ''Panzer Grey''. Traces of various shades of pastel crayon brown have been applied on top with a dry brush.

DuperScaleIt was fairly easy to build. The plastic is pretty soft but a perfect model for beginners.

DoubtingmangoI always look at the submarine kits as pretty simple without a lot of features, but then I see a build like this where the painting and weathering just bring it alive. Fantastic!
