Tamiya 1/32 F-4J Red Devils
An overview of the kit, accessories and breakdown of the parts into separate, lableled bins.
Started work on the tanks and missiles. Worked on the seam lines, sanded and primed with Mr. Surfacer 1500.
Missile build half way done.
Waiting for after market air intakes, but in the meantime, I am working on getting rid of mold lines, ejection marks, etc. lots of sanding.
A couple of the bins labeled by Sprue. This is the first build where I remove all parts from sprue and started sanding and organizing parts.
Started work on the fuselage and elevator. Completed painting exhaust and elevator. Not thrilled with it. I'll work on getting it more varied.
The instructions don't have a paint guide in the instructions. Just call outs by paint number. I hate having to constantly refer to a separate guide. So I created my own guide by step. In fact, I prefer MRP and Mr. Hobby lacquer paints. So, I'll add comparable paints from both paint lines. BTW, I do like Tamiya, but only for certain things. Hand painting details, some primary colors....sometimes just my mood.

I love the idea of the labeled trays. I may have to steal your paint guide once I start mine sometime down the road. I look forward to your progress!
