This kit is very nicely detailed and miles better than the ancient Airfix and Hasegawa efforts. Moulding though is quite poor with lots of flash to clean, some thick sprue gates which merge into the parts, some shrink holes and gaps needing filling. The addition of the WE210 tracks is needed as the kit has Lee/Sherman flat pad types. Here you can see the resin tracks from OKB Grigorov. My favorite upgrade though has to be the 30 cal coax MG from Master. Amazingly the barrel and sleeve are separate parts and the barrel slides inside the sleeve.

I decided to open up one of the side hatches. Which meant of course I needed an interior. The kit has a reasonable breech for the 75mm but nothing else. I just built what could be seen. Which turned out to be quite a lot. So I've built a turret basket, an engine firewall, an ammo rack, a breech guard, gun cleaning rods and floor stowage racks.

The final element to go in is the hull gunner's seat.

Thanks Simon. I'll be happy if it comes out half as nice as your M3 Lee. 🙂

Thank you Tom. Somehow I missed your Vespid Jagdpanzer 38. It looks brilliant! I've been away from here these last few months, but slowly getting a bit more bench time.

Thanks for your kind words JC and Rui, JC your flak panther looks great BTW. Rui I thought I had the interior about done, but the photos reveal that the gun cleaning rods are a bit too thick and obstruct the rounds in the bottom of the rack, which I'm sure isn't right.. Looks like some more faffing around is imminent....
