That's a nice start, and I'm sure the interior will be gorgeous when painted with all these details

Hey Oliver, what kind of paint do you use as cockpit-colour? Tamiya XF? Gunze H? Vallejo?

As a great fan of the best and most beautiful fighter plane of WW II, I would say:
Nice to see you want to continue this rare seen last Variant of the Mk IX.
She is much more beautiful as the Mk. IX, because of the cut-down rear fuselage and the all-round vision sliding hood.
A very elegant bird she is!
I like your eye for details in the cockpit area and your micro-paint job is amazing.
The weathering effect is really nice!
Only the white photo background drops down the nice colouring of your model. A blue background sounds better, believe in me.
But there are sadly some boring model magazines, who need such unreasonable requirements....😉😉😉😉
Nevertheless, your first steps promise a great model.
I will sit down and take a cup of tea!

Thanks Guys!
I´m wondering that you like it so much!
@Holger: simply the best...Gunze!
@Dirk: white....youre right, that this isn´t really the best color for background.

Excellent start! I see in your title that you are planning a French Spitfire - which unit markings will you use? I agree with Dirk - the low back Spitfires are very beautiful! Can't wait to see how this progresses, I'm sure it will be very good! 🙂
