Airfix Kitmaster City of Truro 4-4-0 Locomotive

Detailing done. Just decals and then clearcoat and perhaps a little light weathering to tone down the brightness a bit.  

Just a bit of detailing left to do.  

Construction complete apart from some details; pipes, etc.  

It's very green! 

Masking off the red and putting on the green. The green is Phoenix Precision Enamel.  

The instructions are rather tanned with age but they are clear and easy to follow.  

As always, I don't quite do things in the order of the instructions because I want to paint parts first.  

 

Some red paint and metallic wheels done. The red is Humbrol 60 enamel and the metallic is Humbrol 11 acrylic silver.  

It all seems to be there although there is a nameplate decal missing and the decals generally are old and rather tired. I will probably look for replacements.  

The Airfix box artwork was allegedly better than the original Rosebud edition.
