I forgot to put this in the ideas so it is starting "in progress".
Made a start with the cockpit and some weight in the nose, hopefully it's enough. 🙂

The Gnat had the canopy added, masked and then primer applied (light grey). I have painted the yellow with 3 coats of Vallejo Model Air Medium yellow and 2 coats of Hataka BS Golden Yellow. Next will be the tail. 🙂
Many thanks mate for your interest and like Sukhoi242. 👍

Good to see the yellow on it, dose look good in the yellow.
Takes your time on the landing gear, can be little fiddly.
Good stuff 👌, thanks for uploading

Sprayed with gloss varnish and then added the decals. Next will be adding the wheels and other ancillaries. 🙂
Many thanks for your kind comments SM and Mr D, they are greatly appreciated. @ Mr D, The front landing gear was very difficult to get off the sprue so I know what you mean. 👍

Now completed, this is a Folland Gnat from the Yellowjacks display team based at RAF Valley, Anglesey in 1964, a forerunner team of the Red Arrows. 🙂 The last photo is a picture of the actual aircraft.

@Mr D, I used a very light grey primer followed by Vallejo Model Air Medium Yellow and then Hataka Trainer Yellow x 2 coats over that. They went on better than I expected. 🙂
Mr D, Robert, Nicolas & Ekki, many thanks for the very kind comments, I appreciate them greatly. 👍

Cute little plane. Scheme turned out well. Especially with yellow which can be so tricky.
