Very nice job, Dave! Did you rescribe all the panel lines? I ask because I remember the Italeri kit having raised panel lines, and the DML kit having recessed lines. I built the DML kit back in the early 90s.

Yes Sir Bill. I rescribed the panel lines present on the kit. I had a full panel lay out sheet for the YF-23 but decided to hold off on rescribing all new panel lines.

Album info
This kit was built way back in 08. I used the Tamiya Kit which is just a re-boxing of the Italeri kit. The ejection seat was replaced with a resin seat from Aires, and the cockpit was detailed using PE from Eduards for the F-15C. I used the F-15C due to the fact the YF-23 utilized the same cockpit in both of the prototypes. I dropped the slats, flaps, and ailerons. Scribed and painted each tile in the exhaust section to replicate those found on the actual aircraft.
