Looks heavy worn. Is this medium from AK better than hairspray?
17 February 2013, 16:28
Michel Huijghe
@Philip
How does the AK product for the chipping?
17 February 2013, 17:54
Philip De Keyser
Hi Christian, yes it looks heavy worn, I like it that way 😉
My opinion is that the hairspray technick just the same works then this AK product, the AK product is better to set it on the surface but thats all, the result are the same from both products.

Hi Philip,
thx for sharing this little gem!
The Stuka is well painted and the winter camo is truly realistic!
I like this special springtime atmosphere! The grass is freshly green and the last snow is melting!
The wood panels are well weathered! Amazing little display!
Wish you all the best next contest! 😉

Greetz Phil
25 February 2013, 07:17
Dirk Heyer
Hi Phillip,
wish you all the best for your contest entry's!
In answer to your first question:
I`ve started a Mirage III and a Sikorsky HSS-1.
Second Question: No I can`t come this year.
My exhibition agenda this year is planned:
March, Munich/Ober-Schleißheim
April maybe Heiden (only Sunday)
September, Mol
and in October Eindhoven/Veldhoven.
That`s all for this year!
Last year I`ve visited 5 more exhibitions! That`s too expensive for me, since the gasoline price climbs up to the sky! 🙂

Greetz Phil 😉

Philly, please tell me, what stuff have you used for the floor? Wooden ice sticks?
26 February 2013, 20:34
Philip De Keyser
Hi Holger, no wooden ice sticks, the floor is made of 2mm strips of mirantewood bought in the local hobby shop, it cost me 0,40 cent for 1 meter, so I bought ten of those for 4 euro. Do you now mirantewood? these strips are also in denwood.
