I would spray it with base color (Russian green), then secure it with a varnish layer, then chiping agent (hair spray?) and finally add the whitewash.

Hi Kim, in case of a winter waethering I Will finish the model in his natural colors, put the decals on and seal them with a Matt claer coat, used then the product from AK worned effects, spray a layer of these on the model and let it dry, spray now the wintertones on the model, this must be are an acrillyc color, when the color is dry you can used now water to take of the winter camouflage and set so the chipping, I will explane it to you Friday at the club if you want?
