Thank you. I really enjoyed the work on this Bus.
Can somebody tell me what the f... happens to my descriptions? They are always lost in cyberspace.

Hi Jurgen.
I used to drive Route Masters in my London Transport days, your build has bought back so many memories, a very good job you have made of it as well. I am glad you have built a used version as it's so tempting to build a brand new pristine version instead. Excellent work Jurgen, well done 🙂 👍

Thank you, Steve. I tried to make it look used, but not abused 😉
I rode the Routemaster several times on the Heritage Routes and the buses were always looking well maintained.

Oh yes!!! They are and always have been very well maintained.
The problem is these days the spare parts are beginning to run out. They have started robbing worn out Route Masters, but how long will that last. Becoming a museum piece is our iconic Routey, shame...

Sehr schöner Doppeldecker - vor allem sehr gelungen! 👍 Ein echter Hingugger, nicht allein wegen der Grösse.
So - und jetzt wieder was mit matten Tarnfarben! 😄

Album info
Usually I just build military vehicles, especially Bundeswehr tanks. But this particular bus was a "must have". Here are pictures of my RML. It was built straight out of the box except the injection pipes, which were made from thin wire.
The decals of the TfL-bus-symbol were self made after destroying one of the London-Transport decals. The WWRY-posters and the Airfix-placards (I could not resist) were self made as well. I printed the placards on the sides and the signs for bus route 3 on photo paper.
The reason for the No. 3 is the Caravan Club camping site at Crystal Palace Park, where I'll spend two weeks this year. I'm a member of this club, so I put a advertisement on the side of the bus.
