This is an interesting photo, because it shows bf109 G-10/U4 WNr 612769 landing gear leg clearly. The dark section must be red coloured, a reminder to serve the engine with 100 octane. Its engine was the powerful DB605DC.

Now compare photo No2 with photo No1: they have the same feature on the legs: Red-painted section.

Now there is no excuse for getting your servicing triangles wrong: You see this on the landing gear ? It is a "C3" triangle on the servicing points.

OK, I have just uploaded a photo of the mount of possibly the most successful big gunners of ZG26, the 3U+EN of 5./ZG26 StaffelKapitan Fritz Stehle. 5 kills on that barrel, April 1944. The mark before the balkenkreuz is a bit strange though, it does not look as a "U" to me. The "3U" should be in small letters anyway. Note that the aircraft letter "E" is in red.

The new Meng kit ? It is more expensive than Revell's, but can you find the Revell old kit anymore ?

You mean this one?
Messerschmitt Me-410B-2/U4 (Meng Model LS-001, 1:48)
It would be perfecet for my purposes to make a 410 with 5cm BK!

Yes. I have the old kit, which I will modify to a U4: I have the gun and gun fairing already, all I need to scratchbuild is the telescopic sight. I also have decals for another aircraft of 5/ZG26 which can be easily modified to represent Stehle's mount.

You mean the Revell one?
Some reviews say that the cockpit of Revells 410 is a little bit more detailed. Will you add a aftermarketcockpit?
