Hi ! SPITZE. Ein feines Modellchen. Jetzt sehe ich wenigstens wie meine Ente geworden wäre wenn nicht meine Frau für eine rot/schwarze gestimmt hätte 🙂

Yes Mike, this year we have two Groupbuilds. One with the Revell 2CV. and one withe theme "100 Jahre Marineflieger" for this i build the W4, the FF33 and a Starfighter. All in 1:48 scale. If you are interested you are invited to build so much Dugs you can.

It looks great! I love the little details such as the Nür Links sticker on the rear window 🙂

Hehe Louis de Funès was really funny in his St. Tropez movies but he's not the star in this clip as that title goes to the 2CV...

I know of a 2CV with a small American V8 engine. It has bigger tires (but hidden from view) a custom stainless steel dashboard and a roll cage. The owner once had a kind of drag race against a VW Golf GTI and he won the race easily. With a caravan attached to the 2CV! The top speed was estimated at 250 km/h and 0-100 km/h took around 4 seconds.. But they never tested its top speed, because the roof started fluttering @ 120 km/h.

I've seen several 2CV's with V8's at the Citroën world meet in The Netherlands several years ago...bit of a fake....they were jeep chassis with 2CV bodies mounted on them....not a true 2CV....and from the experience with my own 2CV's I can testify that there is no way the normal chassis would hold event the weight of a V8 let alone the power....

I found the original (Dutch) article: 2cv.nl/publicaties/v8/ but i didn't know more people had done this.. It seems a bit suicidal, a Kamikaze car..

And that car also doesn't have an original chassis according to the article....but to be fair...it looks original from the outside!...must be fun at the traffic lights!
