No guys, it's not. Why? Well, this was the first big one I built after a 30-years stop. I had to build up my skills again and learn new ones, but I'm making some progress. 😉 As you can see on this Lanc: I didn't tape the window frames back then. I learned that only last year. The same goes for applying the aerials for which I use fishing line. Apart from that the decals of this early seventies kit desintegrated when hitting the water, so I took them from the VE-day set by Airfix. They were bad too and Im could'nt prevent the silvering, in spite of the use of Set en Sol. But I did like building it.

Jan...
Firstly: If you had'nt said anything, I would not of had a second look with a more critical eye.
Secondly: I agree with Holly.
Thirdly: I have yet to meet a modeller who is 100% happy with his build. We all know our models better than the viewer. We all know our own mistakes, errors, cock-ups and we all feel a pang of guilt when the viewer says, Oh! sir what a great build. But why spoil the viewers perception???
Mistakes add character!!!

I agree with Steve, we are always very strict in judging our models.

Thanks for the support guys. Yes, we are sometimes a bit harsh, but it urges us to do better next time 😉
Es-haq Khosravi What's that cylinder shape thing under it's belly: it houses the H2 radar and is made of plexiglass, that was painted all black.
