I've heard that this is a decent kit for the price. What kind of putty are you useing and why so much on the fusalage? I'm really instrested in getting this kit someday. Gary

I'm using kind of my own homemade version of Mr. Surfacer. Squadron white putty thinned with lacquer thinner. The reason for so much putty on the fuselage spine is because I had tried putting everything on and didn't do a very good job with alignment. Broke it down again and restarted, but of course the putty that had already been applied was still there. Incidentally, the price for me was free. My Aunt Nancy bought it for me while we were visiting her in Ohio back in March.

Looking good Ed. If I get one of these I plan to do it gear up with NVA markings. Gary

For this model a little putty. MiG from Revel far from the prototype and I'm afraid it's not a putty fix. No easy task. Good l
