Upper winga rib #2 with cap strip
Stained and shellaced prior to starting assembly
cut out the top rib cap strips for both wings and put them on tape so I wouldn't get them mixed up. Started on the frame for the fuselage as well
Got two more ribs completed today. The two longer ones ore 2 of 9 for the upper right wing
Leading edge will be on the bottom. I will need to stain and seal the spares and the rib caps before assembling the wing half.
I like the contrast of the rib caps and the ribs. Will just shellac the rib caps
I will stain the spars the same color as the ribs.

Started laminating the wingtips for both upper wings
Upper wingtips formed! Need to seal with a little CA glue.
Glued the #1 Rib in, pinned down the spars and glued #2 and #3 rib
Had to drill holes in spars for rigging. Ribs glued. Test fit wing tip.
Wing ribs and spars without wingtip
Different perspective. From the wingtip to the inboard portion of the wing.
