I've added some pictures showing little progress. I had to fill the seam on the fuselage in the front of the wing root with the gun deflectors already attached. I'm checking the pictures and I can see it needs some extra work, but I am *this* close from the priming.
@Jose It's wonderful kit, I was used to 80s Hasegawa and Academy, this is far beyond in the quality and fitting. Definitely not my last kit from Eduard.
@Adie Thank you mate 🙂

State of the badass art! Black primer is on. There's a lot of soon to be invisible work including rescribing panel lines, filling, sanding, polishing and such.

@Jan Ano, chystám. Rád bych to stihnul už sem 8th IG Plastikmodellbau Erzgebirge Model Show (7. and 8. February, Raschau-Markersbach DE) a na Panthers Cup jsem jej přihlásil do SIGu 🙂

Maybe you can start the streaking on the other side of the ailerons, slats, ... now it seems that the streaking runs from the back to the front on these, otherwise you can add a tiny drop of the wash at some panels and pull it back by finger, to simulate some oil-spills through acces openings?

I got plenty of reference pictures, but the spills are rare on the upper side of the wing. Spotted just some next to flap hinge covers.

Striving for perfection is a double edged sword,
in the pursuit for excellence nothing is ever quite good enough, above criticism and can always be improved upon.
A trait all master craftsmen have to endure 🙂
I think it looks really good too btw 🙂

That's a nice one. The Mig-21 is one of my favourite Cold War fighters.
