Omg that is beautiful, how did you paint it? ( colors, when you added a varnish and what kind of varnish). And what did you do for the mud and dust on the lower hull

Thanks Hunter/Choppa!.. Overall Tamiya XF-67 NATO Green, cut with XF-62 Dk Yellow at about 4:1. Next was XF-51 Khaki Drab in just the wheel wells. Over that is a light dusting of XF-57 Buff on the highlites and the LAV telltale dust pattern rising from the second road wheel on the upper hull sides. When that dried, it was Future'ed (gloss) in prep for a filter with 502 Abteilung 125 Light mud. I wanted to keep the green as much as possible so it was a light filter. I then applied washes to all the bolt heads securing the add on armour. I then used pigments to get the dust build up in the nooks and crannies. The GIB (guy in Back) hatch area was worked with some wet effects from AK, and mixed with Mig Prod 232 dry mud pigment to get the darker look, ground in dirt by the elbows of the air sentries (GIB). Same pigments with pigment fixer in the wheel wells to create the caked mud effect.
