Finished the the filling & sanding needed, after these pics were taken. This is a poorly detailed kit so I have put it on hold after deciding to flatten the raised panel lines & scribe my own along with some riveting. Still waiting for my scriber to arrive, its on a VERY slow boat from China!

I just re-scribed my first kit with raised panel lines. It sure made a world of difference.

That's what I was thinking! It will be my first attempt but I don't think it can be worse than it looks now!

I used the raised panel lines as a guide, then sanded them off, I used a pin vise with a needle in it for rivets, have to get a rivet tool. I have the Revell 1/32 P-51B, it will get all the raised rivets sanded off it and re-scribed. The wings are covered in raised rivets, and the real P-51's wing is as smooth as a baby's butt.
