Hi robert, fantastic model. Which color did you use for the body?

Thanks Norbert,
Actually that's FolkArt 653 Emerald Green Metallic craft paint, mixed w/about 15-20% Delta Gloss Exterior Varnish !! Then coated with a few coats of the gloss varnish, let it dry for 4 or 5 days, then carefully sand & polish it. It's not perfect, but my best effort to that point. Enjoyed it.
The metallic is a bit hard to work with, it needs several coats of clear before you can sand it, the metallic is kinda large for the scale and will scratch it easily. Takes patience, but turned out nice.
This Revell kit is really great,,,, very detailed, easy to build, everything fits well and it looks great when finished.
Highly recommend it.
It's a keeper even if your not a Dodge Dart fan

U R Welcome Norbert,
Well, it always looks better in the pics!! But it does look real nice. You just gotta be patient with the stuff, take your time, don't rush it. You do have to thin it pretty much. Practice a little with it on something scrap first. You can also use the Pledge for the clear, but you must let it dry for like a week! The varnish hardens good in a few days. the longer you let it dry the better.
I'm just not good enough with the airbrush yet that I can afford to use (waste) the high $$$ paint. The craft paint works pretty well, you just gotta play with it.

Another practice kit. Actually a real nice kit. One of the best ones I've built. Lots of details, nice fits, lots of separate pieces make it easy to detail. Very recommended.
This one I used gloss varnish and sanded & polished it. it came out nice, but takes some time to do.
