Your coming along very well Johan, the decals are much better. With the finish, your Typhoon looks just right, but your 190 is a little too glossy.

Good job! Seems you had more luck than me with the canopy of the fw190. What kit did you build the typhoon from?

Thanks! The typhoon is from an Airfix giftset. (Dog fight ser with a Typhoon and a FW190)

Johan: I use a spray can to apply a matt coat – Humbrol acrylic matt varnish. It is very quick and easy (as long as you cover all the glazing).

I have Humbrol Clear Satin Varnish and Matt Cote (bottles) Think I might invest in a spray can.

As long as the canopy is masked, the final matt coat from a spray can takes about five seconds and it will just reduce the glossiness.

I found an acrylic matt spray among my mother's pain stash. Worked well on the Stuka🙂
