Lovely detailing. I am interested to know how do you get that surface texture on the exhaust?

Thanks! Primed with Alclad black, a thin layer of Alclad semi matt alu. Then I changed my mind and sprayed with Gunze H453 Rust Red, darkened with Alclad Exhaust Manifold. It is in real no more so red as the camera thinks. I have the opposite with washings on Alcald, the camera "see" the washing more heavy then it is in real.

That propeller is a work of art by itself

Agreed! Your work is superb, but that propeller...that's going beyond! And it's in 1:48 scale... Thank you for sharing the technique.

Thanks mates, and the propeller is not yet ready! I guess it is still to "yellow" and I have to add some of the Gunze Clear with airbrush, but I wait for the finally painted model. And after that I will add manufacturer decals. See my other projects fro more wooden propeller examples.
