If the builders goal is for historical accuracy, then Zimmerit is needed. Otherwise the builder can add, detract and change to suit builders preference. Enjoy the skill and craftsmanship of the build. Well done.

I was going to go whole hog on the build, but a few annoying niggles of the model, and being my first German tank with camo I decided to keep it OOB and play with the weathering rather than go mad. As for the MG's I don't have any drill bits that small!

You should be able to find a pin vise and a few tiny drill bits at your local hobby store for a couple of bucks.
