Excellent built tiny plane. Are the items at the end of each wing guides for formation flying ?

No Koll, they are guides for performing aerobatics accurately so you can judge when you're going exactly vertical or 45 degrees to the horizontal, important for tail slides, stall turns etc.
........ and for scoring well at competitions by performing precise routines in front of the judges 🙂
