B-2A Spirit Stealth Bomber
Test fitting on the planned display stand. This is huge!
All doors closed. The thing in the back is where the display stand is mounted to.
Underside with all dores cloed. A bit of sanding to remove residue of superglue still required. In the Back the mounting hole for the display stand.
Some gaps to fill! And the engine cover also had some sink marks, which I already removed. Nothing bad, but no Tamiya fit either.

Thanks for the interest. Not much to show at the moment as I'm currently trying to get the air intakes smooth and flush. There's quiet a gap around them which should not be there. And as it is a very prominent feature I try to get it right.
And yes, all those doors closed and 2/3 of this expensive kit not used. Did cost me a bit of courage. But ,I don't like the look of this plane sitting on the ground. And even then you would have to place it on a mirror to see into the bomb bay. So I decided to show her in flight with all doors closed. We'll see how it turns out.

Indeed! I found one on Evilbay which came in a very scruffy box and warped. But still, it's a KC-135!

Lucky you! 👍 I even read a review boasting the Italeri one was molded out of better tooling than the original ESCI one. Maybe Italeri got hold of ESCI's spare tooling.

Is that a common thing "I want one, I want one, I have one and now I'm afraid to built it"? It is with me. Have a large Nelson and a KC-97 in the stash. Want to build it, but...
Nice little plane you got there Ingmar 😛

Yes Martin, that ìs a common thing! I have three F-14s in the stash that have to be the perfect Black Knight bird in my imagination so I haven't started any of them because I was afraid it wouldn't be 'perfect'... Being part of my local modeling club helps though. The guys have challenges which will push you to build that kit in a certain amount of time and within certain criteria. This actually gets me building and I learn something new every time! 🙂
