@Treehugger - this kit #00791 is a very good kit from the start. it has really nice details. I suspect this is Hasegawa's 3rd '/or later generation kits.

Thanks @Daniel. An old project going way back in 2012. Picked it up recently as I was organizing my "shelf of doom". And thought might be a good thing to finish it once and for all!!

Thanks @Mike and @Spanjaard. I wish i could afford more of these 3rd or 4th generation Hasegawa 1/72 kits. They are really good

Hats off to you for pulling this off in 1:72 👍 I wonder how the pictures would look like with black background

@Dave the kit builds should have gone nicely. very detailed for 1/72 with many small parts. plastic was hard but fit was supposed to be good. But... due to my own carelessness, I was struggling with the build. mistakes on gluing, trimming, sanding etc got me really frustrated. I left it for a few years in the box before I had the patience to continue and finish the job.

It's a nice build, must be a good feeling to finally put this one to bed.

I'm not a big Phantom lover but I do think the recce version looks good. You topped it off with a great build!
