I've actually lost the loader's machine gun. But the Tamiya kit includes binoculars which fit nearly exactly and make an interesting difference.
Loader's hatch with prism periscope.
Added conduit to the turret.
Commander's cupola with prism periscopes.

Tamiya M1A2 Abrams with some modifications. I have added the fender springs and some armored conduit to the turret.
I have also fabricated Plexiglass prisms instead of the clear plastic windows of the periscopes.
