M24 Chaffee (Tamiya Kit), 2nd Armored Division, Germany, April, 1945. This long awaited replacement for the M3/M5 series light tanks began to appear in December 1944. T26E4 Super Pershing (Hobbyboss kit), 3rd Armored, Germany, April 1945. 1 T26E1 was fitted with a more powerful T15E1 90mm gun of 73 calibers designed to outgun the Tiger II and its 88mm 72 caliber main gun. This gun was almost twice as long as the standard 90mm of the T26E1/M26. Recoil was beefed up with the two external cylinders and 3rd Armored Division field shops improvised additional armor as experience proved the Pershing was vulnerable to 88 rounds.

The Comet was the first British cruiser tank to be designed with the 17-pounder main gun which was only prior retrofitted to other tanks as a stop gap such as the Sherman Firefly and the Challenger (modified Cromwell). It was December 1944 before the first batch was sent to Europe and in April 1945 the 11 Armored Division's 3 tank regiments crossed the Rhine River fully outfitted with Comets.
