St. Mary's Church, Falklands April 1982
The picture that inspired the diorama
First test of the dimension that I guessed from Google Maps and some pictures
3D printed church after some optimization of the supports an print settings
The little base is build from plastic sheet.
AAV-7 from Bronco with "new" turret from the printer. The kit's turret is a newer version and not suitable.
Turrets with open and closed hatch
Turret for the AML-90. It's amazing waht a 270 Euro printer can achieve (look at the muzzle break)

Album info
Inspired by reading a book about the Falklands War and seeing a picture with Argentinian soldiers with their AAV-7 in front of a cute little church in Port Stanley. The AAV-7 is from a Bronco kit. Everything else like the AML-90, the church and all the figures was designed in Blender and printed on my Elegoo Mars SLA printer.
