Primed with grey. I used "The Army Painter" brand.

Ended up just priming the cockpit too. Will repaint it afterwards.

Had an issue when trying to glue in the nose ballast. I used Revell cement which ended up softening the plastic, causing it to droop under the weight of the ballast. I tried to salvage the nose with Revell Plasto. I applied it sparingly this time, and sanded down with a 3M microfine sponge. The end result is not what I had hoped. Still learning how to deal with putty.

Close-up of the nose deformation caused by gluing the ballast. Any ideas what to use here in the future to hold the ballast in place?

One gear broke off during priming, but it will be re-installed. I am slowly actually enjoying landing gear after initially hating them.

Had some paint splatter from the primer can. Ended up stripping those spots with thinner and re-applying primer. However the splatter really stained the underlying plastic. I think some strong chemicals are contained in those splatter blobs.

Nacelles halves took a bit of sanding to pair together smoothly.
