Sturmpanzer 43
Tamiya's new tool Sturmpanzer IV Brummbär with my first attempt with their Detail-Up Zimmerit sticky-on thingys.
Not really decals, you have to cut out and trim to fit. Generally, the fit is good except around curved sections. I would say it doubled the time to building time.
I would normally use FriulModel tracks but with side skirts in place, the kit's tracks are good enough for me.
This kit was sitting on the shelf for some time and I lost a couple of parts. Spares box to the rescue.
The side skirts are fantastic for plastic parts. Not as good as metal ones but way better than what Tamiya has offered in the past. I wish they offered these as a "Detail-Up" set for their Panzer IV Ausf. H or J.
Ready for paint....

Do you like Tamiyas sticky on zimmerit? Looks pretty good to the camera, what do you think in person?

bossy122 Yes. I've used it twice now and I plan to again on a Panzer IV and a Tiger. It's best on flat surfaces and is a little tricky to use when you first start. Practice makes perfect(ish) though.
