The sphere is incorrectly assembled, so the openings do not match up. The chair and rail assembly for the cosmonaut was also not inserted prior to the sphere being closed, so it was impossible to get it in. Will have to disassemble.

Disassembly of the sphere was easier than anticipated.

The seams on the service module has big cracks, lots of putty needed

Same for the third stage, the parts does not quite line up-.
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/0/9/1/1070091-36912-52-720.jpg)
After a lot of sanding, I decided to add some bracing to the inside og the 3rd stage.
![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/0/8/9/1070089-36912-14-720.jpg)
![Album image #8 Album image #8](/albums/img/0/8/8/1070088-36912-42-720.jpg)
The inside of the 3rd stage didn't look nice, so I covered it with a sheet of 0.4mm styrene. I will have to think about adding some details later to make it more interesting.
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/0/9/2/1070092-36912-98-720.jpg)
The location pins on the 3rd stage engines aren't that useful ...

The cosmonaut seat was glued to the rail structure. It was slightly damaged during disassembly, so started on some repairs.

Memories, memories - I built this model at least three times as a kid 🙂 Following, of course!

Thanks for the like, Robert. Wow, did you really build it three times (or more)? Was it a special favourite of yours?

Thanks for your likes, too, Thomas 🙂 Frankly speaking, this was one of the easily available kits here in Poland in 1980ies and I most probably got them as Christmas gifts... I liked it much too, since it has the cosmonaut and interior 😉 Nevertheless, my favourites from VEB Plasticard were SAAB Draken, LET L-410 Turbolet and Aero L-60 Brygadyr...
