Zero 1/48 practise.
Some styrine detail added to the air intake in the nose.
Revell black paint with a silver dry brush.
Styrine intrument panel designed by sight so it's not completely accurate or precisely made.
Added some more parts to the panel.
Machine gun charging handles for more cockpit detail.
Looking a lot better in my opinion.
Not completely neat but it will do.
Ready for priming.
Most of the colours added for the interior and some more parts.
Made some seatbelts and chipping. Really liked the end result.
Dark brown oil wash added to all the interior parts.

Black wash added.
Cockpit fixed in the fuselage.
One of the downsides of japanese planes. Having to many window spars. It only took a hour to get this result.
Interior green as first layer for the canopy.
Interior green before a place the spare canopy.
Black for the back side of the prop and conopy frame to make it less see true.
Spare canopy used to protect the paint for the cockpit area.
Pre shading with white.
Silver paint to try some chipping. I will use liquit mask for this.
Ijn Green used a the main camo colour.
Not completly happy with the chipping but not bad as a first try.
I had the wrong colour on the landing gear legs. So i fixed it in this step and added some extra detail.
Finished legs.
Decals are really thick like always on the tamiya kits. But got them in a decent place.
Mig medium tan wash.
Home made dark brown oil wash.
Decently happy with the detail.
Ready for matt coat.
Removed the closed canopy.
Oil weathering
Added the open canopy to the model.
First try adding aireal wire.
Landing gear added. really happy with those.
Almost finished.
Making landing lights from pva glue. My first time trying.
Adding the antenna this time succesfully.
Not completly clear but happy with the lights.
Dark grey paint for the wire.
Clear blue.
Clear red.
Finished
Really love the blue metalic
Really thought the j2m was alot bigger then the a6m2.
Gets a good place between the other 1/48 scale models and the a-26.

A practise kit to try some new things and improve my airbrush skills.
I also tried to rescribe some panel lines and adding some riveting. I really need to try again in the future because it didn't workout in the end. Made alot of mistakes.
Modifications:

Mistakes:
- Bad rescribed panels
